Elaine Fourie started her property career in 1999 after working at the bank for many years. She started off at a small property industry in Simon’s Town doing Sectional Title Management and the administration of a small letting portfolio. In 2003 the owner sold the business with her as “part of the package” to a well- known property group in the South Peninsula where she was doing residential letting and administration of a large portfolio stretching from Simon’s Town to Lakeside. This included Sectional Title Management for approximately 12 buildings.
Having built a name for herself, she was approached by a national property franchise group to start a letting portfolio in Fish Hoek, Simon’s Town, Noordhoek, Kommetjie and surrounds. After writing 75 new properties in record time, the Franchisor saw it fit for her to own her own franchise. She undertook a Sales Course and commenced Residential Property Sales, whilst continuing to manage a large Letting Portfolio as well as Sectional Title Management of a few blocks of flats.
In 2007 she decided to open her own Property Company (Pegasus Properties) conducting the same duties as above. The letting portfolio grew to 100 properties which were managed on a monthly basis, whilst still conducting Sales in the Deep South. This she successfully managed to do with the help of two assistants.
In 2016, having no more young children at home, she decided to sell her Letting Portfolio to a national brand, scaled down from her hectic work schedule and relocated with her husband to beautiful tranquil Langebaan. The West Coast is where she finally felt at home, safe and secure in a town known as the Ultimate Holiday Destination.
Elaine prides herself as being a people’s person and with various courses behind her, including a Dale Carnegie Course in Human Relations and Effective Speaking, she is sure to make you feel welcome with her down-to-earth approach, while still maintaining professionalism.
